New Years SS picture for pooffle, woo! It took me weeks to finish. o__o

Ahh… I kind of developed a very personal undertaking with this picture. The conception was stuck in my head for at least a couple of months, and about halfway through painting it I had to be hospitalized for neurological problems. A week in the hospital, 5 MRIs, 1 spinal tap and (what felt like) millions of needlestabs later, I get diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Incurable diseases, whee!!

Neeways, a revamp of an older character and also an homage to one of my favorite artists of all time; Gustav Klimt. I had so much fun with the colors and textures, which is part of why it took so frekken long to finish, eheh~

I’m really glad that I am really lax about the way people draw Madison; I don’t mind if people want to stick to thte way I draw her or if they want to branch out and interpret her in their own style and FOR THIS REASON I AM SO GRATIFIED THAT I GET SUCH A HUGE RANGE OF ART IN ALL DIFFERENT FORMS because it’s really interesting the way people decide to draw her. I am a huge fan of your lines, as they’re so clean but have a lovely texture to them. I love how your colour palettes tend towards neutral and desaturated colours, they have such a lovely calming delicate feel. I love the overall texture in this piece of work I’M JUST. SORT OF.
